During my Erasmus study exchange in Madrid, I followed one of the symbols of Iberian wildlife: the Spanish ibex (Capra pyrenaica).
For an entire year, I split my free time between two regional parks. The first one, the Parque Regional de la Cuenca Alta del Manzanares, was not far from Madrid, whereas the other one was in the Comunidad Autonoma de Castilla y León and was called the Parque Regional de la Sierra de Gredos.
Under the hot Mediterranean sun, I waited amongst the dry rocks and photographed the ibex with only my 300mm lens.
