After a lot of internet searches, we found ourselves in a small town in Swedish Lapland called Skellefteå, where we spent two months one summer. In that village near the 64th parallel north, known to most for its thriving mining and gold mining industries, we met. That is: me, a naturalist photographer, and Andrew Meachin, a young English painter.
We had long fantasized about sharing a physical and creative journey. Finally, our projects had materialised and they paved the way for a real adventure.
